Hello,
If anyone has the BIOS for the snap 2000 server greater than 1.2.180 please let me know through email or an IM on this forum. sgossard34@comcast.net
I need to upgrade to something greater than BIOS 2.x so I can enable large disk support on this snap 2000 server.
thanks in advance!

You should use the same size, and mfg of HD. Not doing so will come back to haunt you. In the 4000 and 4100, they don't like it at all in raid 5 config. Atleast you have the mfg the same, not to sure about your math though. 200+120 in RAID 1 should be around 110gig. The number you give may be RAID 0, striping.

Actually that is not true. You can use any mfg or size drives you want for RAID. The lower size drive and slower speed will just limit the other drive.
My signature just indicates the total amount of drive space I could have, like your sig does. My mirror volume is actually 112 GB.

Well I am mainly clearing things up for the newbie on these forums. Ideally you would want to have the same mfg, size, speed, and type but doing it the other way will not hurt you in any way or come back to haunt you later.
