I now have a 72w peltier running -6 Idle
and 60 under full load, temps are Farenheit.
Can anybody give me an idea how much colder a
peltier w/ water cooling would be.
Rough estimate is fine.

Your performance would blow away what any HSF can do.

H2O rigs really rock with pelts, they arent too much better in a just cpu to waterblock setup. But in a CPU to Pelt(s) to Waterblock they rock. a H2O kit can scale to pull easily 10x the heat away from a hot component then a HSF.

I would say you could keepit at a steady 10 - 15 at full load, and prolly -10 to -20+ at idle. Pelts + Watercooling = Real Cooling system. it all depends on the components you use in yer rig. Overclock-watercool.com has a ton of some of the most impressive gear I have used.

as an example of what active liquid cooling will give you when properly matched with TEC's consider this picture.... http://www.procooling.com/ubb/smile.gif

rather extreme, i have to admit, but then I would not want it any other way http://www.procooling.com/ubb/smile.gif

Your temps under load should be around zero w/ H2O cooling. What kind of hsf are you using now? Alpha?
