Just for shits and giggles I thought i'd post a lil "what joes been doing" since working on the site and shit like that obviously isnt one of the things.

Racing, Attending races, crewing for races... pretty much about it:

Last week I was down for 5 days in Indianapolis for the US Grand Prix, heres a pic:

I have been autoX'n (unfortunately no action pics, just a single pic of my car sitting idle:

Ive been wrenching on the car a good bit... doing lots of maint, and in the next week will have H&R Race springs, Koni adjustible sport shocks/struts, a custom 25mm rear sway, new bushings, Scroth harness, and a new set of rubber just for autoX.

I have been crewing for a rally team when they need, this is a pic of the car up at the Head Waters rally in northern MN:

I have been doing TSD road rallies as a navigator 3 times this year so far and looking to do a few more this year. heres 2 pics, one from up in the winter rally in Northern Michigan, and one from the Glacier trails rally in Northern WI this spring.

(the VW is a 85 GTI, w/ bilstien struts, caged, 5 point harnesses, massaged engine, and lots of fun on gravel trails we were on!)

So thats what I have been up to... well that and working my arse off at work...

As you can tell, the internet isnt really that active a place for me in the last 6 months... come fall and winter it will be but summer is no time to be on the PC :)

Me too! I crew chief for these two cars. We are currently in the lead (by 15 pts) in the midwest region. That's on the grad for practice at Road America for the June Sprints last weekend.
And some "computer racing"
And some boat racing, that's me watching my son race a 420.

Ohh thats cool, you going to be up at RA for the ALMS race? I am looking to camp up there that weekend. If the F1 race wasnt last weekend I woulda been up for the sprints to check em out.

If the F1 race wasnt last weekend I woulda been up for the sprints to check em out.Missed tha ALMS race, we were at Blackhawk (getting a 1st and 15th). The cars are at Autobaun this weekend, but I'm racing the boat this weekend (big regatta, free Becks beer truck from wed night till sunday night and PARTIES!)

I'll be at the Champ car race in Sept (22-24, prolly be there the 20th). Augie Papst (Sr.) got us a parking spot for our 5th wheel in with the big guys on the padock. Our racing "Yoda" drives for Rocketsports. He does stuff like jumps on one of our cars and says "Send the shocks back to Pensky, they need a rebuild". We put him in one of our cars at Sebring (to get some good laps into the data aquisition systen) and on his 4th lap he ran 0.1 sec below the track record. Needless to say we had some good data to work with!
If you're there, look for us. http://www.cluelessracing.com/.
