The 4500 is a Guardian OS unit. We have just started seeing these with in the last 6 mo. You may need to contact Adaptec Tech support. Since Adaptec pruchased Snap there is a fee now for support, $120. This is refunded if they are unable to help you.

We have been hoping someone with these units would join the forum and help up out.
