I know you can't put Aluminum and copper against each other or they react. But I was told today that Brass is ok with Aluminum wbich seems strange since it's made with copper.

Brass is a Copper alloy, it will react with Al. but not quite as rapid. its slightly more stable then Cu, but its Oxidation still happens very fast.

How does SwifTech make their blocks then? Aren't they made out of Aluminum with a Copper base?

Yep they are basicly a battery waiting to happen :)

if you use the right water wetters you wont have a problem.

Also brass is somewhat pointless as it has less thermal conductivity than aluminium, better to just go all alu.

What I was thinking of was using Brass compression to threaded "L" on a radiator with tubes too close to case for hose with out it kinking. We have it figured out now.
