Ok I'm building a few systems and for some unknown reason I selected these boards... I have read of resistor trick that will fix these boards to actually run properly at 133 FSB. If anyone knows what this is please let me know.

um, I'm not sure what you are talking about, those boards are spec'd to run @ the 133mhz FSB

Yeah they are spec'd to run 133, but they do not run at 133 with any procs other than the new XP procs without the mod. (or so I have read)

hehe I have run into a similar problem

T-bird 1.4Ghz (C class. not XP's) with 256MB DDR sticks

They were unstable as hell...

The solution I found...dont use DDR!!! ?!?!?!?

the boards seem to work just fine with PC133 Sticks

Yes I noiticed that the VCore was always running about .05 V too low and that kinda torqued me off as well

IF there is such a mod that can be use to get the VCore back up to normal, (the DDR Voltage as well would be GREAT) I would start using DDR in the system again.

Otherwise they seem to be great boards (grrr just stupid ECS doesnt seem to get their acts together all the time)

PLEASE post any mods that are available on this board

Thanks

if you want to increase your vcore just close the L7 bridges on your proc. That should bring it up.

hmm, my friend has one of those mobo's with a duron 850 on it and it works fine at 133mhz FSB.

I've built two systems w/ these. One uses a 133 mhz FSB Athlon 1.33 ghz. The other uses an XP 1600+. No mods. Both are ROCK STABLE.

You probably got a bad batch of boards. Sucks, man. Cuz they are great boards when they work.
