Haven't had any experience with SMP cooling yet but when I build my new system [hopefully soon!], I'm plan to buy an Abit BP6 with 2 Celeron 366s or 400s. Depending on how long I wait I'm thinking about possibly going with Powerleap PPGA to FCPGA converters and p3-550e's. This would increase the price by at least $650 though! The good thing though is that I'm hoping I can overclock them to about 775+ MHz a piece with either peltiers or water cooling. If you need any help with the site or news I'd be glad to help. :)

Make sure you got bandwith for Saturday or Sunday!!

The article that I am gonna make for the Project is going to include Stereaming RealVideo, and ALOT of GREAT quality pic's. I am borrowing a nice couple megapixel Digital Cam, and also a video cam to document it.

Its gonna be rock'n!

ALSO
The guys at Coolchip.com have really been just great to me and the site. Because of them I will be doing 2 articles in a VERY short period of time. Still thinking of the proper "code name" for the next project but its going to be a SMP Celeron setup with their new S370 Coolers strapped on for the ride.

Stay tuned!

w2kr - sounds like you can benefit from some better case cooling.

i was running a 694d w/ 2x 366@550 celeries. i was using watercooled peltiers before i scrapped it and sold it all. i didn't need the cooling. they still ran at 550 w/ gorbs. i just wanted to try h20/pelts out.

im setting up a abit bp6 with two celeron 400's, i need an anwser here, do you think they would clock to 500 with just real good hsf's( like alpha and gorbs) or do you think i should go with 2 alpha pep66t's? LMK

The Celerons will like a bit more cooling then a standard HSF. To get a good stable OC, you may want to go with the better HSF's.

Wow I was amazed when I saw the dates on this thread http://www.procooling.com/ubb/smile.gif hehehehe Over a year ago.. wow

I was gonna H2O cool my Dual Celeron 533 system, but I kinda lost one of the chips, don't have the SMP APIC module to run SMP, didn't have 2 heatsinks to make waterblocks out of, and don't/didn't have the money for a pump. But I might try later.
