Ok, so it actually is my first *case* heh. I'll post all the pics I have so far... I'm actually a little farther than the pics show. I'm typing this on the computer now.

They will go in chronological order...

Might want to try some IDE devices first ;)

Nice work, especially bending that plexi.

I'd consider taking the PSU out of its shell. (What's the point in having a clear case, if ya can't see the innards?)

also a very good idea,, would allow for better cooling of the PSU also.

My original plan was too, but I was slightly concerned about grounding, etc. Plus, after cracking open the case, I discovered my psu was ugly :)

LOL! I know what you mean.

Grounding is a problem, but this is where you can make it all look very pretty: use a heavy, braided copper cable, and ground everything together. Copper always looks good...

It's just an idea.

you could coat some of the exposed leads and such with RTV sealant or some sort of silicon also

I take it heat + plexi = bent plexi?

Grounding the Power supply would be no different if it was out of its case... as it is there is no grounding at all in or out of the power supply case.

so either way take a braided wire or a small normal wire and ground the motherboard etc...

I take it heat + plexi = bent plexi? Yep, I used a heat gun (used for paint removal usually) to slowly heat it up and bend it around a rounded over edge. I was thinking about getting a big thing of pvc pipe and making the top just one huge continious bend.
