Very very nice! I like how the unit opens up and everything is quite organized.

One suggestion though....you might want to replace the fan on the CPU HSF with a quieter fan so you can enjoy your movies a lot more :)

Thanks a lot, i had to throw this together over xmas break where i had access to tools. I have a lot of plans of updating much of it and a complete rebuild this summer.

I am planning on building something out of plexi as well: http://forums.procooling.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5543 . I was wondering what was your source for the clear material you used?

I bought my Plexiglass at the home depot. I got a 30"X36" sheet for $25, i don't know if this is a good price or not, i think for my next case i'm going to shop around more. Any other question or comments about design/constrction are welcome

I think the price maybe a bit high, but fair.

I especially like your hinge work: nice, simple, elegant and functional. Some people use a "piano" hinge (brass), but it's just not the same. There's clear plastic "piano" hinge out there, but it's pricey.

Excellent work. Worthy of an article.

I am interested in that rounded top... What kinda measurements do they sell that in?

Thanks

The rounded top I made myself by heating the plexiglass with a heat gun and then bending it over a form (two 2X6's nailed perpendicular to each other). I hope that answers your question BrianW.
