I'm going to need some supplies but really don't feel like ordering such a piddly amount of crap like this mailorder.

Do places likes HomeDepot or Lowes carry these things?

Hehe...trust me. This will be a project on the scale of DH3 when it's all said and done.
I just got my Oly 490z the other day so there will be lotsa pix.

The one main thing that is going to really slow this project down is that I have to custom build a wooden cabinet for the system. I'm not a big woodworker so that in itself is going to be a major project for me.

Motherboard came in today...waterpump is due in tomorrow. Sound proofing materials also came in the other day. About the only major piece of hardware I'm lacking (that I can think of at the moment) is the cpu. I'm leaning towards a Duron 800.

Whatcha guys think? Should I put the UV glow stuff in the water and install black lights or not?

edit: Duh...I'm still waiting for my waterblock, TEC, coldplate, m/b chipset wateblock to ship. Prolly be in next week some time.

If you havent bought your cpu yet get it from www.upgradeplanet.com (http://www.upgradeplanet.com) I just bought a duron 800 from them and have yet to find a place that sells it for a lower price.

miller:

I've heard horrid things about upgradeplanet. If you've had a good experience from them, consider yourself the fortunate one.

I'll be shopping elsewhere. Thanks for offering the tip tho. The gesture is appreciated http://www.procooling.com/ubb/smile.gif
