View Full Version : Pic's of the Pro/Mini will be posted tonight on the forum.
the machine will be very close to done ( cooling sys, and case modding wise ) I will post some pics.
In quite a few ways it will deal with most of the bitching I heard about DH3. Its going to be a Very controlled 1 loop machine.

Ah the memories of putting a water cooled setup into a tightly confined space. Those were the days...wait, they still are!

yeh its fun.
Most people screw it up and fill the entire HD bay with a res tank or something....
the way this machine is setup it wont affect any drives, or any boards. I think the key is make'n a big cooling rig but make sure it doesnt impare the ability to add stuff to the pc. Also, this way it keeps the hot stuff ( the res tank could become warm) either at the absolute top or isolated from the machine ( radaitor).
My fingers are still real crossed on if this will all work the first try... doing a lot of praying.. ( if I was a religous man I would be atleast http://www.procooling.com/ubb/biggrin.gif)
This after noon when I get the box of goods from Chip in today Hopefully before 12:00 or 12:30 I will be driving home and start assemble'n the CPU/coldplate/pelt/waterblock assy. Then tonight I will get that part finished, and MAYBE.. Hopefully get the hardware put in and mounted tonight, leaving friday to load the software and debug any issues.

I got around the drive bay res, I built a PVC one and it sitting on the side hidden. But since I have a standard 5x12 radiator, it takes up the whole side and its not fun getting video cards out. But that was also fixed when I got a AGP card...which reminds me, I still need to get the heatsink(other) tapped for fitting. And a moment of silence for a incomplete(not tested) video card project.
ok.
