good idea but the air going into the case won;t be so cool as it has only been cooled down by ambient air... like an air-air radiator. But remember you are basically having a closed box, right? that internal air better ne cooled better than it is heated, or it could be catastrophic, as it's a situation very much like putting a dinky heatsink on a 80 watt peltier! it would work, but you'd need a large surface area for the exchanger. and a large surface on your box to put the thing!!!

Neat Idea, but you may want to work on bringing the air like 1 deg below ambient by using a low wattage pelt on that HSF, just enuf to maybe reduce the internal air down to ambient or slightly below ( not enuf to generate any condensation). With the volume of air you are going to be moving, a 50watt pelt would work great. Now remember I am not talking about chilling the air, I am talking about just giving a lil aid to dropping it down to ambient. Just off raw heat transfer by HSF's you wont be able to do TOO much cooling of the internal air

i had a k6-2 400 to.. but it wouldn't clock more.. even with a peltier.. if you had the NEWEST k6-2 (with the .18 die proc) then I could understand...lol

but i dont think its a good solution,ZODIAC!
at first our casetemp is going up and you have gotto have lots of vents to make it work.. My solution at home for dust is just a dustremover from a vacuumcleaner.. those things cost shit... and DO the job!
it works very well in my setup.. only slightly less air throughput... but NO dust in my case... only once in the month the vacuumcleaner on that filter (my mum does it now for me.. LOL )

That looks familar......can't remember the company that makes it though.

As long as its the 2.2v version it usually clocks better than the 2.4v version. And its a 0.25 version AFX series I believe.
