Ok this is freaking me out...I just realized that my temp sensor isnt hooked up and hasnt been for the past couple of days. MBM is showing what looks to be the accurate temperature though...it even changes as I do things on the computer. Is there a sensor built into the Pentium chips?

In your motherboard, there is probably a thermal diode right under the processor.

its slot one...using an asus slotket..you sure?

There is an internal temperature diode in it... That's what it is reading. Mine is at -12 deg C right now.. and I have the regular thermistor hanging out in space... (getting ready to test some thermal switches I have for the finishing touches to my project). http://www.procooling.com/ubb/smile.gif
