Moving on...

Well, life has been busy for me the last 3-4 months, but I've been working in the middle of the night and in the spare minute or two I get, to make this:

It isn't a masterpiece. It isn't groundbreaking in technology or idea. But I figure if even I can make something like this, it might be interesting for those of you who haven't done any custom-case building.

Wow, you could fit a few systems in that! That uv/antifreeze on top of it glows in the flash pretty nicely.

It's intended to be roomy, quiet, and easy to work in. I don't like cramped interiors, which is why I didn't go SFF form factor.

This is my solution to getting 6 hard drives in there and a large radiator and still keep things quiet and cool.

Yeah I like things Big. That's nice looking. One small piece of advice. I would get some chrome trim from Schucks or Car Quest and use it around your drives. It will make them blend in with the suroundings much better. That's about the only thing I would do. It's pretty cheep and comes with adhesive on the back. It is chrome like material that cuts like plastic. Put it on in only a few minutes. I use this anytime I cut something these days as I can cut straight lines but not so straight they look perfect. :D

None for general consumption yet. I'll post some with my article. It's not impressive, really. I just hope it can share some tips with those who want to to learn a bit about case-making basics. In other words, for those who are "tool-impaired" like me.

Thanks for the suggestion. I had thought of it, but discarded the idea for two reasons. The seams are acting as vents that channel air from the positive interior case pressure across the dvd drive and fan controller out of the case. It keeps the drive and fan controller cool. And, I'm a bit lazy. :D I still might do it though.
