I've got one that's a little out of the ordinary. I don't know if any of you have seen it before, I'm not too active on the various forums.
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y15...essedSmall.jpg I built the case from stainless steel tubing. The far side of the case is the reservoir and the near side is pressurized for distribution. The pump draws from the bottom of the res, pushes through the radiators and into the pressurized side. All the waterblocks pick up from bungs in the side and return back to the reservoir. I did this one about two years ago, and I'm halfway through the next iteration right now. |

yes I have made that res :)

I'm lazy and just use a DD res with hole drilled in the threads for better filling action:

Not custom, but still high "bling factor.
Note that those are 1/2" barbs, rare for such a small res. I got it at: www.performance-pcs.com It works great on an Eheim 1048, but an Iwaki 20RZT overwhelms it. The air goes right through! The inner chamber is only 1-1/4" (D) X 4-3/4" (H). |
This 'Res' will contain a small Cistern made from a carburator needle and seet and float. And a Mistmaker. :)
