starbuck3733t 06-24-2005 03:05 PM

speaking of which, do you make them for people, or just for fun?

looking around your home page, i got the impression that you may make them for people.

pierreg60 06-27-2005 01:58 PM

a tube of Ø 40mm and dish of copper of 3mm polishing and thats all

(google traduction sorry)

starbuck3733t 06-28-2005 08:36 PM

"40mm OD tube of copper and some 3mm copper plate, soldered and polished" I think.

zachjowi 07-12-2005 02:42 PM

I've got one that's a little out of the ordinary. I don't know if any of you have seen it before, I'm not too active on the various forums.

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y15...essedSmall.jpg

I built the case from stainless steel tubing. The far side of the case is the reservoir and the near side is pressurized for distribution. The pump draws from the bottom of the res, pushes through the radiators and into the pressurized side. All the waterblocks pick up from bungs in the side and return back to the reservoir. I did this one about two years ago, and I'm halfway through the next iteration right now.

That is awsome and nice LCD's

Tommy_86 07-26-2005 09:53 AM

rcillig 07-26-2005 10:20 AM

nice you make that ?

Tommy_86 07-26-2005 10:51 AM

yes I have made that res :)

pHaestus 07-26-2005 11:38 AM

I'm lazy and just use a DD res with hole drilled in the threads for better filling action:

Not custom, but still high "bling factor.
Note that those are 1/2" barbs, rare for such a small res.
I got it at: www.performance-pcs.com

It works great on an Eheim 1048, but an Iwaki 20RZT overwhelms it. The air goes right through! The inner chamber is only 1-1/4" (D) X 4-3/4" (H).

Dunno 07-27-2005 05:38 PM

This 'Res' will contain a small Cistern made from a carburator needle and seet and float. And a Mistmaker. :)

More pics here

Will do a Proj Log whent the enclosure plate is cut and bent.
:)
