Post your watercooled pictures

After doing a little searching, i was surprised to see there wasn't a dedicated thread for showing our watercooled setup. Before starting the watercooling project, looking for other people's setups was a bit of a chore. Hopefully this can be a semi-centralized location where we can all share how we setup the innards of the case.

here's my rig
http://geeksupport.com/images/forums...442/h2o_v1.jpg
http://geeksupport.com/images/forums...7442/uv_on.jpg
(2xUV Lights. one on the bottom of the case, another hiding along the top)

Case: Lian Li PC65
Rad: DTek Pro Core
Pump: Eheim 1250
Tubing: 1/2" ClearFlex60
CPU Block: WhiteWater
GPU Block: Maze 4
Additives: Water Wetter / DTek UV Visible Blue

Extra Info: Yes, I cut the 3.5" HD Cage to fit the pro core. it was cut just deep enough so that the lower 3.5" blanking plates would still fit. The T-line going behind the floppy drive is where the air trap is hiding. the water-flow doesn't seem to be as strong as i had hoped, so after finals, i'll re-do the tubing. Electrical tape was used to prevent any possible shortages and rubbing against the side-panel window as i'm using worm clamps.

If anyone needs webspace for their system pics, drop me a PM and i'll host it.

Folks new to watercooling can see my progression pictures (Warning: I uploaded these directly off the digicam)

Sorry for wrecking Your whole thread idea, but is that possibly a Titan aluminium fan on that heater core?
If so, is it noisy? I´m just about to order a heater core and a good 120 mm fan, and the Titan is the one I´m thinking of.
regards
Mikael S.

no worries.

short answer: yes

long answer: it's okay but i also have a rehostat so if i feel it's too loud, i lower it down

Here's the mod gallery Forum:

We also have a Hardware & Case mods Forum:

It seems like my point didn't get across. Let me try again. I already understand that a mod forum exists but that doesn't necessarily restrict images to watercooled-only. What i'm trying to do is get a thread started so if anyone asks about tubing placement, we can point them to this thread than telling them to search all around the forum/web.

bigben2k 07-29-2003 02:21 PM

Gotcha...

I'm in favor of keeping the tubing as straight as possible, and "tug free", which can tilt a block off the core.

Here's pHaestus' article on the subject:
http://www.procooling.com/articles/h...s_with_h2o.php

In short, avoid mitre elbows, and if possible, go with two 45 deg copper sweeps. That's what I plan to use in my rig, for every significant turn of the tubing, with clamps, of course!

thanks for the link :)

I will be posting my project pics as soon as I start it next week when I receive my new case. My current case is too small for some of the things I want to do with it.

Nice Nik!

How do you like that cube?

Blackeagle 07-29-2003 07:06 PM

Nikhsub1,

Wow! Most impressive indeed! Dual cores and your Iwaki MD15 quite a combo. How large of a temp drop did the duals give you?

What case is that?

Have you tried to increase your O/C with your increased cooling? Luck?

nikhsub1 07-29-2003 08:03 PM

Thanks guys, the case can be had at www.mountainmods.com tell ben Scott sent you ;) My temps have dropped 5 - 6C with the new case/dual cores. Nothing else changed. My OC remains the same however, maybe a ram issue.
