Motherboard Mounting Holes
I'm sure this information is listed somewhere in here but does anyone know the dimensions on standard atx heatsink mounting holes for a athlon/duron/xp socket? I checked amd's specs but they have convieniently dissappeared. I need the dimensions for a standard 4 lug hold down on a home brew alum block.
Thanks in advance. |
I think swiftech's site has those dimensions listed on the spacing of the holes on their blocks. Try that, dude.

awww i like brad's pict better....
youre able to make a somewhat 'universal' water block with that pict |
You can always use a simple way of attaching your waterblock to the cpu.
You will use the computer case as a fix point then then you assemble pressure with a screw, you will nead a mutter, a plate, and a screw its quite simple, but you will nead to have something under your motherboard. this is only theory, i do not knew if it will be a good solution. http://forum.sweclockers.com/attachm...postid=1087304 in the picture from bottom left clockwise, it is mutter, glue, screw, plate, glue, rubber, waterblock. |
God you guys should really switch to the metric system!! heh now i have to convert the number with a calc. ;)
Nice though, this is just what i was looking for. |
