20 peltiers supplied?
 

Hello guys, long time no see ;)

I came here to ask you, i live in Portugal, the voltage here is 220volts.

If i get 20 Peltiers, can i just rectify my 220 volts line and directly feed the 20 peltiers in series?
Or would the ripple kill them?

You would blow your wiring as it would draw too much current. I think the AC would kill the peltiers. They range from about 12-18v DC.

That, i can tell you for sure it's not true.
If i get 20 peltiers in series, each one of 50 watts/ 4amps, they would consume a total of +-4 amps from my electricity socket.

Yes, i heard the ripple would kill the peltiers, that's what i asked, if it actually would kill them.

Decided already on a normal fridge. Thanks anyway.
