those things either use really big bearing (and very expensive) or they use lame sleeves

I really do like the idea, but I feel it won't be ready yet, they need to test it for long periods and see how reliable it actually is, and how much it will cost to make in large quantities

I am quite interested also. I think making the hub that much smaller will make a huge difference in the amount of air flow possible, not to mention reducing noise.

ya, with the center bearing being so small it's gonna have to be a high quality bearing not to burn up right away....even though the fan doesn't spin quite as fast as a normal fan. Do any other manufacturers make any really unique fans...

xtreme fan stacking....can u imagine 3 60mm screams...makes my ears hurt just thinking about it

I always wanted a 60mm x 50mm fan, with two sets of blades. not necessarily a high speed one. Just for more airflow and less noise

I enquired at my local store, overclock.co.uk and they said they don't do them but know they are available in the UK. Hopefully they will tell me where on Monday. Also if you go to the website, the 70mm are already out(as overclock told me) and the 60mm and 80mm were schedualed for release mid april. So they should be appearing soon, I also assume that due to UK having bad supplies of everything, and later than everywhere else(ok not everywhere but the US at least) that they will be around the US somewhere. The ystech site also says that due to its design its actually mcuh easier to produce with a smaller quatity of fans being damaged during production, this should eman tehy are cheaper than even a normal sleeve fan, but I'd put my life savings on them being more expensive, but they should be cheap for when I buy new case at end of year(case prepared for HAMMER TIME,can't touch this).

I can get my baggy pants out of storage when they come out.
