abit th-7 II chipset cooling ???
anybody know of any good products for this?
the mobo has a stupid looking retention clip and my ingenuity is at its limits..... |
just get a normal heatsink, and use the wire thingee between the fins on the heatsink, you will have to chop the heatsink down to fit of course
or you do as i did. go on an compu auction, and by all kinds of hsf's you can fiund, got five fro $10, one of, i really like, its an Whisperkit, in aluminium, and that, is what i am going to use on my TH7II-Raid, as soon that i go buy some adhesive ofcourse
How about the Thermaltake Tiger1???
naw, it has a different clip design than that of the 850 mobos
i epoxied a stock athlon cooler to it and it seems to be doing pretty damn good if i do say so myself LOL |
just screw a fan straight onto the heatsink
umm, brad, there isnt room for a fan on it.
well, you can use nylon ties to tie a fan to the ends of the clip
I have an 845G mobo and the chipsed really doesn't get very got. these are .13ยต chips on there.

I mean a 40mm one, to fit ontop of the chipset
