In the stock h/s cradle
The two side blocks under the tension lever are removable(on pins) so that when using a peltier the side blocks are replaced with thinner ones to accomodate for the height change |
Garrie linked me to that a couple of hours ago, seriously nice looking block, but I'd like to see temps first. If you look at the thread I started today about a block for socket A or socket 478, it has two outlets and one inlet, I'd love if you could do a block to my design but using that Al + blue leds + lexi thing you're doing
|
Also, where are you in NZ? please tell me within 50km of auckland ;)
thanks |
Cheers Brad...Yes I looked at your design and thats easy for me to make. You can have lights and the clear top too;)
I live in Howick(Auckland of course) |

What does it look like with water in it?
|
that is kickass.... I love that little flowershape

Seems as if the looks of the block made us forget the most important, what are the temps with the block?
|
The LED thing is cool, I have done it to a few of the spirals and loved the way it looked, Right now I am fitting my nuke block with some yellow LEDS.

nah, silcone is to iffy, could leak over time, I am using good old epoxy, dries clear, easy to work with, WONT LEAK!!!!!
|
stevo, I might just have to visit you one day, I work in Penrose, so it isn't too far out of my way.
Have you thought about adding another led? or as many as possible hehe, it looks really cool now, but a bit underlit in the middle. Fix, that sounds cool with the yellow, where are you going to place them? |
I've figured out to add some more leds in a slightly different area.
Actually it does look better in the flesh as the daytime pics disolve some of the colour effect. But to make you happy i'm going to mod it shortly and post the results. Not getting any other colours though;) |
yeah, the blue + aluminium look is what I like, I doubt it would look good in other colours, although green might be alright
|
They gave me an award here..:)
