First time TEC Redux
Well, I've got all my replacement equipment, new radiator, and in splicing it in, I opened the front barb cover on my Via 1300 pump. Putting it back together though is another story. It no longer seals, and doesn't even fit tightly anymore. I've got it currently drying from the plastic liquid glue in an attempt to seal it. Oh well, I'll probably only run it for a few weeks until I can get in a replacement pump. Anybody have a suggestion on one that can be gotten through MSC? I get a heavy discount through work.

Wound up using silicone, the other method leaked. Holding at about -18 to -20C with the water at about 30C. No air running through the radiator at this time too. Seems to be stable at this these temps. Just letting enough frost to form to take a good picture before I shut down the power supply on the peltier and leave it to run the leak test overnight.

Well, the good news is that it is up and running well. Stable temp under mild load is about 51°F/11°C. Still not happy about frying the first chip, but I'm pretty happy with the end product. The 3 pictures I'm including are the frost pic, the best temp I got on the coldplate, and old and new radiator comparison photos. Just in case anybody didn't realize how UNDERSIZED the Aahnix Iceberg II radiator really is
