What is your Vcore , fsb and memory speed ?
the first thing is to lower the memory speed and increase the vcore so you can see how far the fsb will go. Then gradualy drop the vcore until it's stable and then up the ram speed.
Does your mobo have a chipset volt settings ? it's worth checking as intel ran them at a lower volt settings on some boards to try and stop overclocking.
Shame about the HDD.
