Blind holes and holes that stop in the middle of the work piece. I would suggest a blind hole, matching the depth of your channels, so that 3/8" tubing can extend downward. This means that water is introduced to the channels from the channel ends. If you simply place the tube on top of the channels then the water is introduced from the top, forced down into the channels, and then tries to flow across the block. We can try that if you want, but I don't think it will work as well.
