It seems that you’re going to mount it diagonally? It would be wise.
I made a
mini block some time ago, and one problem that showed the design was that the base didn’t touched the cpu pads. It was difficult to hold in place when mounting, and risked some damage to the core during the process. Never realized before that the usefulness of those little rubber foams.
