As part of the "near silent" selection, I plan on using the quickconnects UncleBob is using with his setup (link) and attaching a nice big copper reservoir to act as a reseratior.

Here's a few shot's of UncleBob's Setup (for those of you who haven't seen them.

From these quickconnects I plan on hooking up a large uninsulated copper cylinder like the old direct hot water cylinders. Something about 8"x26” (.20m x .66m).

Essentially I would like to use this as a reseratior and simply turn off all the fans on the heatercores, expect perhaps the rear one in the bottom enclosure to keeps some air passing over the Iwaki. And if I ever would like to take my computer to a lan party or something, I’ll have the cooling power with three heatercores and can just leave the hugh water cylinder at home.

What do you guys think? Comments, suggestions?
