There are 2 different sleds used in those units. I don't know why you would want Maxtor's, they have the highest failure rate in the industry. I think WD will work. WD does not make a Raid Edition drive larger than 320gig, th elast time I looked. These are great HD and are design with Raid in mind, have a min seek time. These drives are actulally heaver than a std HD, design for 24/7 servers. I have the 250gig in my 4500 and they work great.
