Default Getting back into the water

Within the next month I'll be making some improvements to my new build.

Replacing my Ryzen 5 3600 six core, with a Ryzen 7 3700X 8 core, 16 thread beast. Doing this because my brother is in the process of building a new PC. My 3600 was $175 back in July 2020 and just a couple days ago was $320 on newegg. Complete horse shit, the state of the world right now is ruining parts prices. So, the 3700X comes in at $330. A bit rich for my blood, but my brother needs a CPU for his build. He'd have no use for that much HP, so the 3600 is perfect for him to game with and I'll get myself another two cores and four threads.

The performance of the Ryzen 3000 series has impressed me. I'd have gone with a 5600X but I'm not about to wait months and months.

Right now I'm using a CoolerMaster LiquidMaster ml240. This is a closed loop aka all-in-one cooler. Copper base with pump in block, paired to an ALUMINUM 240mm (2x 120mm) radiator. This cost me $80 in July and offers great cooling with low noise. Came with two RGB fans. This will likely be passed on to my brother, or possibly be put on my old rig (Q9650 @ 4 GHz).

New loop will be as follows:

Either a Swiftech Apogee GTZ or AquaExtreme MP-05
Coarsair Hydro X XR5 280mm (2x 140mm) https://www.performance-pcs.com/wate...031002-ww.html
Swiftech MCP50x Extreme DDC Pump https://www.performance-pcs.com/wate...mp-mcp50x.html

I'm really looking forward to seeing the performance to be had on this sub $150 loop. Stay tuned!
