Yeah, just chopped off the / \ bit and a Danger Den barb slides right on.
Laing DDC with 1/2" step up adaptors = 7.2 LPM
Laing DDC with 1/2" modded inlet = 12.2LPM
Test carried out with a 5lt container and a stop watch
