The Danner Supreme MagDrives are quiet as long as you are bled of all air in your system.
As far as the cover leaking... I just had 2 of the lugs behind the cover assembly break off on a a MagDrive. These plastic "lugs" are what the cover is screwed on to.
Permatex to the rescue along with his good buddy, JBWeld....may fix it.
