I don't know about you guys, but I like doing things the American way. For the A64 (socket-939), the distance between the center of the two mounting holes is 3.500", exactly. I am a little unsure of the height clearance, but I think .600" is a safe bet. As for length and width, I'd say 2.400" and 2.550" are a safe limit. Sorry if this is a repost, as I know people have posted the .pdf files, but I figured this puts everything at your fingertips.

EDIT: I forgot to add that for screws, 1/8" should be fine, with the total height of the mounting bracket at around .700".
