Chlorine pucks sound like swimming pool chemicals. If you use chlorine in your septic system you are going to kill it. The little beasties in the septic tank make it work. You want to feed them not kill them. We always flushed a cake of yeast down a toilet once a month to reward them for a job well done and never had to pump out the septic tank. And we had 8 kids plus Mom and Dad usimg the facilities, plus showers and laundry. You better check on the use of chlorine tablets in your septic system.

Grass is always greener over a septic tank and leaching field. I wonder why? LOL
