I don't know about socket holes, but I have heard a couple of rumors that the PCI is locked (AGP is manually set and lockable). I have seen no concrete proof, and that is the only proof I'd take before buying one of these. Watch the amdforums and oc-forums and you'll get confirmation one way or the other shortly.
