I remade the nozzle plate before assembling the block and it includes the 4 nozzles in the very center.

I'm wondering what kind of affect on performance changing the channels in the base to straight ones would have.

I used a huge 1973 3-axis Bridgeport manual mill. This block would have been a million time easier and faster to make using CNC, but I do not currently have affordable access to that kind of equipment.
