Hehe, that's exactly the problem. Just tell it single head. I believe the VGA port is head0, so you should be connected to that. Doing it your way will guarantee a crash.

I'm actually hooking it up through the DVI. Is DVI port 1? I thought DVI was port 0, and VGA was port1.
