Hi,
i noticed lots of threads where people trying to make a tube reservoir don't know where to find the actual tube for it. I know there are some plastic sources online but they charge
$30 per tube. That's insane.
So i decided to share the way i was making reserviors for my systems:
I'm a "backpacker for life" so i'm familiar with Nalgene bottles which are made from Lexan (totally crashproof, easy to drill, Don't chip or crack at ALL) and come in a veriety of different colors (some of which are UV reactant).
There are:
16oz Wide-Opening Lexan Bottle (good for tight spaces)

16oz Narrow-Opening Lexan Bottle

32oz Wide-Opening Lexan Bottle

32oz Narrow-Opening Lexan Bottle

There are more colors (at other stores) if u just "google" around OR you can find an almost CLEAR one if u really need it.
But i like buying colored ones since u can match it with your color of additive. Plus some of them are UV reactant which makes them even so cooler.
These look GREAT, Easier to work with than Acrylic Tubes, and are CHEAP.
Try and u won't regret it !!!
