Suppose you could get a temperature probe

You should find as long as the fan is running and you have it on a solid surface, it will draw enough air in (2200's have intake on bottom, i had it on my bed and it got warm)

They are made to draw the amount of air

The temp will be the HDD temp, and a small amount from the motherboard.


They have been known to work for weeks and months in server cabinets, no problems
