I do not view $400 as unreasonable for a good temp
- Fluke 2190A plus TC plus cal = ~$150
- addl TCs for immersion and air plus selector switch = ~$50
groove IHS = $200 ?

to test wbs an addl $200 to 300 is needed for flow and pressure drop
- Foxboro 823DP plus cal = ~$100
- mag flow meter = $100 - 200

no bs on the mag meters, many available on eBay

if this is too much money, they can skip the testing part ?
