I've read the guides on cd/dvdrom led replacement, nice and easy and all. However my Sony drive has a 3 tailed LED. I'm assuming the middle tail is ground?
Can I use a 2 tailed LED in it's place? And which is positive and negative? I've googled 3 tailed LED's with no luck.
