Point was - I found out that is didn't really NEED the side pieces -they only make the case harder to work on and then you have the problem of joining pieces.

And you don't know the work it took for me to cut that peice out of 2mm steel with a file, a pair of pliers and some snips. call it laziness call it "back to basics" but it still works as well as an enclosed tube that I have been experimenting with.
