looks like youre off to a good restoration start though :-) . I was thinking abotu having the intake of my LT-1 powdercoated black when i get the new engine after the new year. And i think as far as metal parts go on a case powdercoating is a great idea,, as for a waterblock though.. just try and see, worse that happens youre out a $40-$50 waterblock.
