UPDATE: I powder coated a new block I made the other night with a clear powder, the silver solder didn't melt, so everything is fine. Came out pretty good, except the copper turned a bit darker from the 350F. But if you were to do the block a translucent, that'd probably look cool, I might try another one soon.
