Thats what the fan is for...unless you don't have the fans yet.
This is when having access to center punches comes in handy.
Take the fan, place it over the desired area.
Take center punches, of approiate size and put through screw holes.
Strike center punch lightly twice.
Remove fan.
Screw hole templates
Now proceed to drill.
