Will this phase be written up as well?

Well airspirit you've inspired me to do a similar project. Only mine will be used on one comp, but will be flowing through 2xHDD water blocks as I have 3 HDD, a vid block, CPU, and northbridge block. This is what I have so far.
Also I picked up a Lifeguard Quiet one pump for cheap. Here are some specs: HP: 1/25hp Max Flow: 1140 Shutoff Head: 15' inlet: 3/4-1/2" (adapter) outlet: 3/4-1/2" (adapter) watts: 87 color: white/blue I don't really care for the wattage on this pump compared to the Iwaki, but I think it will do the trick. I tried to run my Eheim 1250 with the Lytron rad last night and the flow was non existant.

Bikr: There is no rack. That's the beauty of it. Being uniform desktop cases, it gives me better flexability of construction, and still leaves me the convenience of a stacked PC system. Eventually, I will probably build an actual rack skeleton frame for them, but that won't be until after a third PC is added ... and only then if there are any stability concerns. I can tip the whole unit to over 30 deg. off vertical with no stability problems (I have extra rubber grips on the cases to keep them from sliding).

I guess the point was to illustrate a method of cooling a rack, if one was so inclined.
FRAG: Where did you find the JIC fittings? Were they difficult to locate?

It is interesting that your Eheim had real problems with that radiator. My 350 GPH Danner was pumping over 1 GPM through mine, even when put through the entire system loop. Check my Phase 2 article dealing with the bypass loop around the radiator before you start that project. You'll get better results if you try to stay at 3/4" net ID through your system with a pump that powerful. You'll get better net flow allowing the blocks to do their job better. Here is the link:
http://users.adelphia.net/~jnsholcom...erproject5.htm Let us know how your project comes along!

ahhh.. , Ok , i gotcha.. This guy in florida was selling compaq cabinet racks for like 150 bux , but he wouldn't have them shipped. I picked one up luckily and it was missing the mounting hardware , I called him to see if I could buy it and he apologized and said come get it and it's yours lol , 100 bux worth of hardware for free, with a rack that's probly worth over a grand for 150 bux hahaha --bikr

I'm not sure their 37°, but they seem to fit proper with no leaks. as for as the Eheim goes I'm not to worried as I have a much more powerful pump on the way . I have a simple project I'm working on with the Eheim as soon as my M24x1.50 tap comes in. I'll keep you posted as the project moves along

Those are 37deg fittings.
Have you found fans to blow on your rad yet, or are you going passive?

Well as far as the fans go I can't seem to find any Caravels at a good price so I think I'll use 2 Patriots. Their a little small, but I think they'll do the trick although the Caravels are larger and quieter, 45dBA compared to 50dBA. 5dBA might not seem like that much to some, but the amount of air the Caravels put out compared to the patriot is no contest.
