Default Painting the handle on a chieftec

Hey! I just ordered the black chieftec special at newegg (antec clone) and I want to do a little color change on it. I would like to change the bluish handle on the side panel to black to match the rest of the case. I've read a lot about vinyl dye in the last hour and was wondering if anyone might have done this before on the handle or if anyone has any suggestions to make it black - fire away - thanks!

dye would work if the part was white plastic...but you can try dying it. if it doesnt work, you might try sanding, priming, painting, and clear-coating the handle.
