Danner Mag 12 vs. MCP650
Ok, after going through Cathar's pump thread (again), I've arrived at a bit of a dilema. I have a Danner Magdrive 12 that I had used for an aquarium setup. Here are it's specs:
Mag Drive #12 Flow (gph) 1200 1150 1100 910 700 600 15' 110 taken from: http://www.aquatictech.com/pumps.html After reading a review on the MCP650, it was suggested that it would be fine for a dual CPU setup (which is what I have). So, basically, I'm wondering if a single MCP650 would be adequate in this system: pump-->rad#1-->rad#2-->cpu#1-->cpu#2-->chipset-->gpu-->pump Specs on hardware: 2 X dual 120mm heatercores from DD 2 X MCW6002-PX on 2 Xeon's clocked over 3gig 1 X DD i875 chipset block 1 X MCW50 on a 6800GT Thoughts? I realize it would be ideal to have 2 MCP650's, but I don't have that kind of money right now. Thus, I'm asking if a single MCP650 would do or if I should just keep the Danner. Thanks. |

Yes the 650 will be fine. The mag 12 is rediculous, horrible specs for our needs, 110W! I would bag the chipset block, but to each his own.

Yeah, I'm only putting the chipset block in the loop because I still need to fab my VRM block. I figure I'll fit the tubing so that when I finish the other block I can just switch it over.
