Didn't we all decide that aquarium pumps were supposed to stay on 24/7, and that turning them on and off would shorten their lives? Why bother with the switch. Just leave the damn thing on.

cuz the pump pumping water thru your system creats friction and creates heat, so when you start your computer up you get a HOT cpu

i found that out one time, 50c WHOA!

I like having the pump hard wired into my psu cuz then I know that I can turn the whole thing off with the switch on the back, pump and all. not to mention it's one less wire coming out of the back of my computer.

I just need one more pump for my third setup!! I am about to move in a few days so it will be awhile untill I need one and my e-mail will change as I try and find a new ISP. Looks like cable it out and not sure about DSL yet. They say I need a phone account at the residence before they will tell me if DSL is available.

When they come in let me know.

They should ship on monday and I should have them sometime next week I'll pm you when they come in. I've already been using a smaller version for a long time they work well. I'll probably use about 3 different sizes for my kits. They even have a 550gph pump that looks interesting.

Doesn't really matter. Anything 150GPH to 400GPH. I will wait to see what webmedic comes up with as he is only 20 miles from me.
