Where to put temp probes
i have just got me 2 compu nurse temp probes and i know i put one of them touching my core but the other one the best i can tell u guys give water temp...if so is it ok to put this probe down in my t-line my t is located coming out of the rad going to the water block...its the style probe that is flat do i need to put silicone around it to protect it from the water or what

just make sure the contacts aren't exposed to the water, otherwise it will give you a false reading. good idea on where to put it btw.

Do you really want me to tell you where you should stick that probe?
Really? Are you sure? Ok. Down the t-line sounds fine. The compunurse probes can be immersed, they are waterproof, I have one in the water myself. No need for any added protection. What were you thinking I'd say? |

not sure what sensor is on the Compunurse... but the ones on my DD5 were effected by water slightly.
i just diped mine in some GOOP, and now they read correctly. |
