4100 Help or Info needed
I have a Snap4100 240GB that we've been running on our network for years. Today the mapped share became unreachable, i cant get into the http admin and i cant even ping the unit anymore. the system light was blinking every second and the net and link lights were on. I think these indicate there was no error?? anyway we just couldn't connect anymore we went through the restart procedures and when it came back up it looked like it was going to work, but then all i got was steady flashing amber lights on disk 3 and 4 LEDs. I fear the worst, but i just dont know. after reading these posts there are several very knowlegable people here and im hoping one of you can tell me what the status of my unit is. any info would be greatly appreciated. thank you

Re: 4100 Help or Info needed
You will be in need of a recovery service since you have lost 2 drives. I recommend Snap-Tech (Douglas) with FrontLine Data Recovery, he normally 27-75% cheaper than the competition. He use to work for Qunatum Drive division (SnapAppliance) and knows these systems inside out. You can reach him at 1-866-279-2985. If that line is down let me know, I have another number for him.
The best thing you can do is leave it OFF till you contact him.

Re: 4100 Help or Info needed
Yes, a recover service can.
There is a hardware problem with the 4100's. Look at your motherboard and compare to the post at the top of the thread.
