CuBe...Ps and Rad mounting/heat problem?
Ok I just ordered a white YY cube.(yes I'll be painting it). I want to mount my DD heatercore at the rear of the case. Since the YY PS location is at the bottom of the case; the rad would be going above the powersupply.(Like Kevin's case) My question is, would heat rising from the powersupply affect the rad. in a bad way? Or should do some serious modding and place the PS at the top of the case and Rad below it?
Btw I have an enermax 365 whisper. And Ill be using 2 H/O panaflow 120 fans in a push/pull config. on the heatercore. Thanks |

Works perfectly for me. !! But then again, I've put that nice screen material in front of it, and I purposefully left space underneath it for adding a slow moving fan just for simple circulation if I need it. So far it seems like I don't. I have all my hard drives in the 5 1/4 bays in the front, so I'm considering a slow moving 92mm up there, with the 120 on the DD radiator, that should be fine for circulation on that side. I'm still working out what I'm going to do for the Mobo side. While I don't have the abilities or the funds to do a complete fanless setup that will stay resonably cool, I hope some slow moving fans will circulate enough air to keep it cool, without being too noisy. I'd like to get back to more quiet PCs!!

I dont really think it would make any difference, but if you are worried, maybe U can add a bit of ducting to the PS and to the pulling fan on the RAD.
